A quiz show, mobile & live.

Together with the Berlin-based branding studio MOR, we developed and produced an extensive motion branding package for the trivia app »Cashshow«.

Escape reality with your phone.

The opening sequence draws the players into the narrative world of the gaming machine before the live show starts. We introduce the notion of a global gaming community, an approachable, fun environment to play in and our charming yellow hero player.

Playgrounds & Alchemy.

To breath life into the quizz machine, we came up with several visual analogies. The whole world consists of low-tech, quirky playground-ish elements such as ramps, tunnels, pipes, jumping pads and lots of plastic and gum. Another narrative cue is the production of coins through a wired abstraction of alchemy.

About Me

For more than 20 years, I’ve been working with clients and agencies at the intersection of strategic thinking, digital filmmaking, and design to create distinctive visual experiences in a sea of sameness. My work focuses on how moving images can transform brands and spaces into narrative experiences.

Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg
Alongside my commercial practice, teaching and mentoring remain central to my work. As Co-Head of the postgraduate Motion Design programme at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, I am happy to work with the next generation of motion designers and visual storytellers. Student projects are regularly recognised by the Motion Awards, the Art Directors Club and leading international festivals.
